General Product Information

PitRats® are generally sized to meet the clients’ requirements to meet the pump duties with the float system, power source and trailer designed to meet the sites needs. Telescopic lighting plants and power outlets are available as optional extras.

PitRats® are excellent for the rapid deployment and retrieval of heavy duty submersible mining pumps into and out of waters from any depth. The energy source is separated from the pump to provide flexibility in pump positioning, improve personnel water interface safety, assist with difficult site topography and allows safe efficient access for routine generator servicing.
